AVG access warning screen

Hello Dave,

I will check this for you.

PC picked up TrojanJS/CoinHive.A 2 days ago. AVG and Windows Defender both isolated it before it infected my PC. I believe I've neutralized/deleted it. However, my AVG access screen is still blocked by a message saying an action was initiated that was likely illegal malware. (I use a password to go into my settings to change them.) This screen is asking if I want the action to proceed. Yes to eliminate the warning screen but no to activate the virus. I'm unable to access to my settings or do scans unless I eliminate this screen…  Is it safe for me to input my password and proceed to settings or will that activate the Trojan?
