AVG Added A New Startup File and Viruses

Thank you again for your patience. The file "instup.exe" is "AVG Antivirus Installer" and is part of AVG. It's necessary AVG to function properly (install updates/upgrades, etc.) and this behavior is correct.

I am sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused. "instup.exe" is update or installation process that belongs to the latest 2017 version of AVG. Please share a screenshot ( http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot ) of the Process explorer showing AVG files as virus to assist you further.

I noticed today ,13 June, that AVG has a new startup file when I turn on my computer  (using Taskmanager).  It is "instup.exe".   What is that file for?   Also, when I run  Process Explorer it lists 2 ".Trojan.Win32.Generic!BT"  (adware/malware files) for  AVGSvc.exe.  Is  anyone else seeing this?

Please be informed that AVG files are safe and virus clean. It's possible that those 2/59 are just False positives, however thank you for letting us know about this.
I couldn't find any entry mentioned as "instup.exe" on the screenshot that you have provided.
The entries of AVG listed are the legit ones.
