I have long ago deleted my AVG software as being next to useless, MS secruity essentials are far superior. I have told AVG many times I want nothing to do with their product as I consider it being a kin to an outright scam.
Yet, against my wishes they continue to try to renew my account and take more coin off of me.
It has been over 2 years since my last encounter with these scavangers yet, today I received still another email of automatic renewel. Luckily my first subscripion years ago was paid through pay pal. Pay Pal have been advised of their marketing tactics and have assured me no AVG billing to my account would go through.
Best you distance yourself from these guys they are worse than a plague!
