It seems that old traces of AVG is still found on your PC. Please follow the below steps to remove the old traces.
1) Open Finder
2) In the menu bar select GO > GO TO FOLDER
3) Type: /Library/Application Support/
4) Locate and delete AVG Antivirus folder manually
After removing the traces, please try to install the programs using the steps in the below article.

I cannot install my newly purchased AVG Ultimate on my Mac. I keep getting message that AVG is already installed. The referenced AVG is nowhere to be found.
I have spoken with tech support and they tried to connect me via Support Logmein-Rescue which won't open on my Mac running Monterey 12.4 Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Does AVG perhaps have another app to do remote service?
