AVG Android Can't Connect

AVG Secure VPN on my Samsung S24 Ultra won’t connect today. My subscription is paid up and active. Similar problem to the one I reported on my PC a few days ago… That case (#22826611) remains unresloved and i have not heard anything.

I’ve uninstall AVG Secure VPN from both devices and switched to Nord VPN which is now working fine and giving me yhe protection i desire.

VERY disappointed with AVG and feel like ive wasted my money. BOO to AVG.

Since no one from AVG has bothered to reply or reach out, I’ll continue the grip by relating that AVG Secure VPN is no longer working on any of my devices. The one laptop it remained working on just stopped working…

Allowed Windows 10 v22H2 to run an update today (6-Mar-25): KB5050593. After the restart, AVG Secure VPN says it can’t connect because I’m offline. But I most certainly am connected (insecurely) as I write this. I thought I might be okay, because a message popped up saying I needed to update AVG Secure VPN. I did this by going to Settings> Apps>AVG Secure VPN and clicking , then choosing ‘Uninstall’ then selecting ‘Update’ when offered that option. But after the second restart, same problem.

I then got a prompt to take a ‘brief satisfaction survey’…lol Any guesses on how that went?

Going with Nord VPN on ALL my devices now. I won’t be wasting any more time on AVG and I won’t waste my money renewing my subscription when it comes up again. BOO to AVG.
