Thank you for understanding in advance!
I was on a chat with AVG Support. He told me that this is a known issue that AVG has been working on. He told me it was from a MacOSX update. Since I had purchased it on Oct 29th, a day after the Oct 28 MacOSX update, I figured that this was a problem AVG engineers have been working on for about a month.
Now I see that this problem has been happening since Sep 22nd. Why does AVG sell a product that does not work? That is not good business practice.
If this does not start working by this week, then I will ask for my money back and use a more reliable product.
