Hi Susan,

We're glad to look into this & help you.
Please write back to us in your own post, to keep the conversation in a single thread.
Thank you in advance!

Not to derail the thread, I am also receiving the same error message when attempting to check the box for "Enable tracking protection and detection" in Settings. Uninstalling and reinstalling AVG Antitrack did not correct the issue. I have double checked that Antitrack has all permission allowed/requested under Security & Privacy settings in macOS.

I also have a MacBook Pro 14" with M1 Pro cpu. Currently updated to macOS Monterey 12.1. Kernel Version Darwin 21.2.0. AVG Antitrack version 1.5.0.

Hello

Same happens to me. Apple MacBook pro 14 M2

Error occured changing tracking detection (WebProxyProcessError.terminated("[\"retriesCount\": 0, \"standardError\": , \"shouldRelaunch\": true, \"status\": 10]"))

Thank you.

Hi Jasper, Thanks for posting this and sorry to see that you have the same issue I am experiencing. I was informed by the AVG Support in Europe, back in November, that they would see fo fix this issue in a future update; but so far no news. It seems there may be an issue with Macs using Apple silicon and/or with the Monterey OS. If you get a solution on this on your side, I'd be very grateful if you could let me know.
Best regards and Happy New Year,
Eirik

I am using a new MacBokok Pro 14" (M1Pro chip) with macOS Monterey v 12.0.1 and when I am trying to enable tracking protection and detection under "Settings" I get the following error message:

Error occured changing tracking detection (WebProxyProcessError.terminated("["retriesCount": 0, "standardError": sudo: unable to execute /Users/eirik/Library/Application Support/AVG AntiTrack/capture/AVG AntiTrack: Permission denied\n, "status": 1, "shouldRelaunch": true]"))

Does anyone have a solution to this? I have tried to uninstall and reinstall AVG AntiTrack several times but to no avail. Thank you.
