Hello,

it's not a question, but rather a hint. I'm running MacOs Sierra 10.12.1 on a late 2014 MBP with iTunes 12.5.3.17. During the last months I experienced problems (error code 9006) when I tried to load a new version of IOS via iTunes although I didn't change anything in the configuration. It just didn't work. Now I disabled the real time protection of AntiVirus for the time of the download and the update and it just works. I don't know if Apple changed something or if there's a bug in real time protection. Maybe you could have a look at it. In the mean time I hope this hint could be useful for somebody.

Best regards, and don't forget to re-activate real time Protection afte the IOS update,

Horst Werner
