AVG Antivirus Free Crashes Computer

I apologize for the inconvenience caused. I don't think this issue would have caused due to AVG free antivirus. I guess this should have caused due to your Windows 10 upgrade. However I would request you to try restore of your computer and then uninstall AVG. Before trying restore of your PC please disable your AVG antivirus and only then the restore process can proceed. Please do let us know the status of this. Thank you.

Windows 10
I downloaded and installed AVG Antivirus Free with no problems. It updated fine and had no issues.
However, when I restarted my computer after installing, it boots into Windows 10 recovery screen. I cannot boot into safe mode, and every time I restart into boots into this recovery mode. I have to restore my computer using a restore point created before AVG was installed.
