AVG Antivirus Free for Mac Not Working after El Capitan update!

Hi , 

I sent an email last time however no one replied, and your customer care has not worked for me for the past 3 months! I have put in my information into the boxes, clicked 'ready to chat' however it just loads and loads and loads for an eternity! I even left it overnight once, and it still didnt work! 

So my antivirus AVG free has been acting weird ever since installing El Capitan as my new OS. the real time protection simply says below the umbrella icon "Realtime Prtoection has crashed. Unknown error has occurred." 

I have tried reinstalling twice, and also tried installing the newest dmg file for the free antivirus and installing that. However it still doesn't work. 

Also the "Mac Scanner" option does not work. When i press Scan Mac, a pop up appears saying "Unable to initialize AVG virus canner controller (request operation failed.)"

A reply and fix would be greatly appreciated as I trust AVG greatly with my mac's protection!
