AVG AntiVirus FREE is using upwards of 90% of Disk

Initially, please check & let us know if you have any other antivirus program installed in your computer. As using multiple antivirus programs in a single computer can cause conflict between them.

I've got AVG Antivirus FREE installed on my Windows 10 PC, and at seemingly random intervals it will begin using obscene amounts of disk memory. While it's doing so, the entire system bogs down and becomes practically unusable.

In this case, we'd request you to remove all traces of AVG Antivirus Free from your computer using our 'Clear' tool, restart your computer once and then reinstall it.
Please check if the issue still persists after the clear reinstallation.
