We request you to perform repair of AVG program once by following the steps as mentioned in this article: http://avgread.me/1BVxDSY and initiate the scan. If there is any issues, please let us know.
Then please remove the AVG folders manually as suggested below. Go to Run window (press windows key and R key simultaneously) and type the following comments to delete the folders.
1. Type “Temp” and press enter, remove all the files.
2. “%temp%” and remove all the files.
3. %appdata% - Remove all the AVG folders.
4. %programdata% - Open the AVG folder and remove the old files.
Please go to c: drive-> program files and delete the AVG files and download your AVG program from our official site: http://www.avg.com/us-en/download. Once the installation gets completed, initiate the scan and check for the results.

My AVG AntiVirus Free won't stop scanning, it is stuck on 2% and wont turn off. If I close the program and turn it back on it says it is still scanning. Help

I did all this and the program files still show on my Program and Features, but shows nothing (no megabytes) also tried to uninstall AVG Tuneup and it won't uninstall. Went into regedit and deleted all files, but still no luck
