AVG AntiVirus Free "You are unprotected"

Same here. Just spent over an hour Repairing the install and now using Setup to repair this message; but to no avail! Still says, You are Unprotected. When I click on the AVG icon, I get a message"UI Failed to load. This is really embarassing. Your protection is running, but the UI is having a really bad day."

Perhaps, I misunderstood your instructions to Iain Gordon and I should be uninstalling AVG and then using Setup. If so, perhaps, it is time to try another Antivirus product??

Installed latest update, now showing "You are unprotected" in tray, but showing "Computer Protected" and "Web & Email Protected" in the application window.

AVG AntiVirus Free
Software version: 20.7.3140 (build 20.7.5568.590)
Virus definition version: 200903-0

Have tried repair function and restart but still showing as unprotected in red in tray.
Do I have protection?

It got scared and now it says: You are protected. :-)

So, running Setup and Restart seems to have resolved the issue.
Thank you for updating the status, Tom.
