AVG-antivirus interferes with the operation of the virtual machine Win XP

Notebook HP Pavilion Power Laptop 15cb0xx. Intel Core i5-7300HQ. Windows-10 home.
VMware Workstation 14 Pro.
AntiVirus program AVG free.
When AVG version 17.8.3036 was up-to-date (December 21, 2017) everything was fine. After a long pause, in March 2018, I turned on the virtual machine with XP and found a strong slowdown in its performance, it's impossible to work. And so with all XP-machines, with Win-7-machines all is normal. By multiple recovery to the state (Acronis system disk image) on December 21, 2017 found out that this happens after the AVG update. Windows update is excluded. Do not help the introduction of the "exclusion" folders with virtual machines and VM folders in the "Program Files (x86)" and "Users", and even disabling the components "File Protection" and "Behavior Analysis." Only recovery. Under normal operation, the CPU utilization of the virtual machine is about 30%, and when the "brake" is 100% full. Update AVG obviously hampered, but it needs updating.
Why does antivirus interfere with work and what should I do?

Fulfilled all your instructions: deleted AVG, restarted the computer, installed a new version 18.2.3046 - did not help. The XP virtual machines are still not working.

Bulat, let me know if you are facing issue with the Virtual machine slow performance or unable to access it after reinstalling AVG? Have you disabled AVG and tried to work on the virtual machine.
