AVG Antivirus is already installed, please uninstall the previous version first

May I know what is the version of macOS running on your PC?

1. Open Finder
2. In menubar select Go > Go to Folder…
3. Type /Library/Application Support/ and his the enter key
4. Locate and delete AVGAntivirus folder
5. Reboot computer and try installation again.

Hi

I am trying to install the new free AVG antivirus, but I get an error message: "AVG Antivirus is already installed, please uninstall the previous version first".

I have checked in Application, but it's not there anymore, there must be some hidden files somewhere in my mac.

Could you please help,
