Upon reviewing your account using your email address, I confirm that you have AVG Anti Virus 2015 version. We would like to remove your existing AVG programs using AVG Remover tool. Please try to follow the below simple steps.
Remover and download
1) To download AVG remover tool, please click on this link:  http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions.
3) Restart your PC when the restart option is displayed on the remover tool screen.
NOTE: Once you have logged into your PC after the restart, please go to C:\ drive and delete the "AVG REMOVER" folder manually.

I think the current version I have of the antivirus is not working.  I have tried to download newer versions, only to have a screen box appear, telling me that I will have to remove the existing version and lose any pre-paid options.  This I do, but it seems to make no difference.  When I try to visit the AVG support link, a message box tells me that there is a problem and shuts down.  Can anyone help?
