After having problems the AVG anti-virus not working (saying it was off line and not scanning) I uninstalled it with the MAC uninstall Program.
I downloaded a new copy but when i try to run the installer program it says I have a version already that I need to un-install.
When sourcing my MAC I cannot see any sign of it.
Any help will be appreciated
- Open Finder
- In menubar select Go > Go to Folder...
- Type /Library/Application Support/ and hit the enter key
- Locate and delete AVGAntivirus folder
- Reboot computer and AVG should be removed
