AVG apps -frequently require reactivation

I have used AVG for several years, and have 20 licenses for 4 apps,  I frequently have to reactivate and/ or reinstall my AVG applications multiple times per month. for no apparent reason.  My subscriptions are good. this happens across several devices and operating systems , and have been occurring for a  year now.

 I get no alerts that my app with were uninstalled or disabled . It appears the app attempts to verify the AVG subscription by passing traffic through GOOGLE and then it forwarded to  as best I can tell.

I have noticed a connection between google play store and the App functionality. It would be helpful to know if having the google play strore is a "requirement" for the app to work. .There are a dozen other places to download the AVG applications.  but if AVG is intentionally sending the AVG traffic on to google that is a big problem.

Without a fix, AVG this is more of a security risk than a help…

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
