I am using Windows 10
Following my problem last month with - avg_bg_tray_wnd "This app is preventing shutdown", my PC began having problems accessing the internet and especially You Tube and Amazon and then stopped working completely.
I started in safe mode and used System Restore to get it operating again and after the windows updates I uninstalled everything AVG and then re-installed all my AVG products by downloading from the AVG website. Things were fine for a few days but now I get the message "AvgSecureVpnTraylcon This app is preventing you from restarting (or shutting down or logging off).
Your advice would be appreciated
