How do I unblock a web site that AVG blocked

You can add it to the exception field. Let us know if you could access those sites when AVG is disabled.

Open AVG Internet Security -> Menu -> Settings -> Exception -> add the websites.

Right click on AVG icon under system tray next to clock and turn off your Protection.
