AVG blocked UNINSTALLEXCHANGE.PS1

Hello Stefano,

We apologize for the inconvenience.
We need to first analyze the file and confirm whether it is safe or not.
Hence, requesting you to send us the screenshot of AVG threat detection popup by clicking on see details.
For taking a screenshot, please refer this link:

Thank you.

Hello, yesterday when the pc just booted up, AVG opened a window which tells "UNINSTALLEXCHANGE.PS1 was blocked because is infected with IDP.ALEXA.53"
The original position of the file was: D:\PROGRAM FILES\AVG\SETUP

I putted that file into quarantine immediately.
I had not installed softwares lately and the only thing that happened was the AVG update
My AVG software version is: 21.3.3174 (build 21.3.6164.657).

After that I restarted the pc and started 2 deep scans, one with AVG and one with Malwarebyte but nothing was found.
I would like to know if this could be considered a false positive or not?

The screenshot link say "We'll be right back! Sorry we're currently hard at work
improving our Support Center." So I think I can't follow this step at the moment.

About the "False Positive File Form" I can only send it with AVG Software, because if I go in the folder
D:\PROGRAM FILES\AVG\SETUP , I can't find that file. I can see it only in the "Quarantine section" in AVG.

I am using the FREE version.

I navigate to that path and I looked into the folder of the alert but I can't find the "UNINSTALLEXCHANGE.PS1" file.  Is this normal? Or I need to restore the file from the quarantine to see it?

Let us attempt to make this process easier, Stefano.
Since, we haven't received the screenshot of the threat notification over here, we're not in a position to provide suggestions regarding this. Hence, we've sent you an email requesting it. Please revert to us via email to proceed further.

Same problem over here, completely out of the blue, my guess is that its related to the latest windows update but I'm not sure, all the threads I just saw are from the past couple of days
