Hello again.
After having done the re-installation of chrome, and ran a full AVG scan, I have not been receiving those weird AVG pop ups that were happening out of nowhere.
So I am starting to think it might've been something that was lodged in my previous installation of chrome, but now it's clean so I suppose it's all good.
Thank you for writing back to us, Adrien.
We are really sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.
Are you facing this issue in any particular browser or in all the browsers?
May I know the version of your AVG AntiVirus free program being installed on your PC please?
(Open AVG AntiVirus free -- Menu -- About).
If possible, please share us the screenshot of websites not accessible in order to check and help you further.
For taking a screenshot, please refer to this article: https://bit.ly/3uic6cY

Hello,
As this is my first time posting here, take it into consideration please.
The issue I'm encountering is that, sometimes, throughout the day, AVG will seemingly block a weird website URL for no reason, and I have no idea what's causing this to happen.
Before you ask, no.
I do not visit porn websites on my computer, and I never will be.
I know how many problems they can bring.
Also, I already ran a full Malwarebytes scan, alongside a full AVG scan (twice), and even an adwcleaner scan.
There also was a CCleaner scan and clean "scan" that was performed.
Can anyone out there tell me what those URLs are ?
I really have no clue and the fact that, when I was away one morning, AVG blocked 14 connexions...
It scares me.
Here are the images:

I am posting the link directly, because if I try to attach images directly, they don't load in properly in the post for some reason.
You can reply either here or to the email sent, Adrien.
Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall your AVG AntiVirus free program on your PC and then check if it helps?
Thank you.
Hi, and thanks for the quick reply, in order, here it is:
1- OS: Windows 10 Family edition x64
2- I kinda get this message randomly.
Sometimes I won't get anything for hours, and then I could suddenly get 2 or 3 blocked attempts in the spawn of an hour, with varrying levels of time between said blocked attempts.
3- No I have never tried accessing any of those URLs out of safety.
The only thing I did with a few of them was to run them through VirusTotal to see if it yielded any result, and everytime I did, at least 1 or 2 search engines said the URL was malicious, and 2 or 3 others said it was suspicious.
4- "Threat blocked"
"We have interupted the connexion to the site "insert URL shown on the screenshot here" because this element was infected with "insert URL:type here".
We are glad to know that your issue has been resolved.
Please monitor and contact us back if the issue persists, we will check and help you further.
We really appreciate your time and cooperation.
Thank you.
Thank you for providing all the information. Could you please confirm whether you are using Anti-virus free or paid subscription of AVG Internet Security?
Please try to update AVG program once and restart the PC. Then, please check whether you are getting this notification.
Have you tried to run deep scan using AVG program and check the status? If not, refer the below article to know how to scan PC using AVG program :
Scanning your PC for viruses with AVG AntiVirus
I'll try to do that and see if anything else changes.
As for the remote connexion offer, I'll have to decline it respectfully as I don't really like the thought of others remotely connecting to my pc.
Thank you for writing back to us, Adrien.
Feel free to update the status at your convenient time.
If the issue still persists, we'll certainly investigate further & help you accordingly.

Hello.
I just wanted to send this quick reply to say that I had to cancel the scan, so that I could re-install chrome and all the bookmarks and stuff I had.
For now, everything seems to run smooth, but just in case, I'll do another scan later.
Once that is done I'll share the results asap.
Thank you for sharing the screenshots, Adrien.
We have sent you an email asking you to connect with our AVG free remote technician so that they will check and help you to fix this issue and also please reply to that email for further assistance.
Thank you.
