I noticed some websites I’m using for work (Mnemonica and Claude, ie) are being blocked by the antivirus: there is no direct message of threat being blocked, but the websites won’t load (on any browser) as they are stuck on refreshing and will load the moment I deactivate the AVG firewall.
I had the same issue with not being able to log into Google or Gmail, or many of the websites I use from my desktop. I had no problems accessing from my iPhone or iPad. After two days on the phone with Dell support the technician said it was likely a google issue. Of course Google does not provide any support. After two more days of working with Gemini on my iPad, one of the suggestions was to temporarily pause the AVG Anti-Virus. That immediately solved the problem. I don’t want to leave my AVG AntiVirus off so I hope someone from support sees this and corrects the issue.
just realized it is hindering the connection in general: ie youtube videos taking longer to load and going straight for low quality will load instantly the moment I turn off AVG internet security.
I also have problems at the moment with AVG and Websites not loading. I cant login on Amazon with AVG enabled. If i disable it, then it instantly loads. The Page just stays on loading forever. When i just open amazon it works, but the login doesnt. And also some other Sites. How can i fix that without disabling the protection?
