AVG blocking MS Store and other MS products

I have just purchased a new HP Z2 Workstation pre loaded with Win 10 Pro, after 3 days of frustration I have now realised that AVG is blocking the function of MS Store and a number of other MS common apps.  have realised this is happening on other machines I own so I am now contemplating abandoning AVG after years of use. Does anybody know why AVG is doing this and how to fix it?

I have the Basic Version but need to know if AVG will block key apps on my Business PC as I was considering buying a full licence. If I can't unblock the Basic version then the full is a non starter and I will go elsewhere.
