AVG blocking outgoing mails

I switched it off. No chance. Still no mails going.

I added AVG VPN after testing a free version; it worked fine till AVG then added the paid version. Since then my outgoing e-mails are being blocked; particularly those with attachments. This isn't good and I need to know what to do to sort the problem. Right now I'd prefer not to continue with AVG VPN as this appears to be the cause of the problem.

Now Avinash why would I buy Internet Security so that I switch it off every time I want to send an e-mail. 
I'm not happy - I'd rather just dump the packages, be refunded and look elsewhere where I will get what I pay for. 
How do you feel about that? Can you refund me?

It couldn't be AVG Secure VPN which caused this issue because the issue persists even after disabling the VPN connection.
The other AVG product that could possibly cause this issue is AVG Internet Security.
Please disable AVG protection temporarily and verify if the issue is resolved.

Are you able to send the emails when AVG Secure VPN is turned off?
Which email client (Outlook, Thunderbird etc.,) are you using?

Peter, we are just trying to make sure whether or not AVG is really causing this issue.
We can exclude AVG Secure VPN because the email issue persists even after disabling the VPN connection.
