AVG blocks Home Network

I changed the network settings to private.  No internet.
I will have to go back to the free version, or find another provider.

Hi Sandy,
We are sorry to hear that. Please reinstall AVG Internet Security - Unlimited from http://avgclick.me/1JpamCM . We suggest you to change the firewall network profile from "Public" to "Private" and check if that fixes the issue. To change this settings, please open the AVG Internet Security and click on Menu>Settings>Components>Firewall>Customize>Network profile.
Thank you!

Hi Sandy,
We're sorry to hear that. Please get in touch with the Remote Team once again, if the issue is not resolved, we will escalate the case to our Senior Team.
Thank you!

I have been using AVG Free for years, without problems.
I finally decided to purchase it, and now I can't get on the internet, because it changes my Home Network to a Public Network.    I have to uninstall AVG to get to my Home Network so I can get on the internet.
I called and they said that the Firewall must be uninstalled and then reinstalled.  That worked, but I have to do that each and every time I turn on my computer, or if my computer comes out of hibernation.
This new paid version is so complicated, it would take hours or days to figure it out.  Then do it all over again the next time the computer is turned on.
Today I was going to turn off the AVG firewall to see if that works, like it did in the past, but now it says it's not even installed. WTF?
Anyway, I just deleted AVG for the last time, as I am sick of wasting my time.
No more AVG.

I have already had remote help.
They uninstalled the firewall component because they said it was out of date.
Reinstalled the firewall, and I had internet, only until my computer hibernated.
When I woke up in the morning, and had to get on-line, there was no internet.  I had to disable the firewall again.  Then I had internet.
