AVG blocks KVM software from working when focused window is an AVG product

That also happens to me, and I found a solution...

With AVG focused, use 'TAB' to move under -> 'Menu' -> 'Settings' -> and press 'TAB' until focused on "Search". Then type 'virtualization'.
Press 'TAB' until found 'enable hardware-assisted virtualization' or something like that. Its probably checked.

Uncheck the option 'enable hardware-assisted vertualization', and just restart your computer... After that the problem is gone!

Hello Alex,
Thank you for reaching AVG Support Community.
We will certainly check and help you to resolve your problem.
Please let us know the version of the AVG Internet Security in your PC.
To check that, Open the AVG Internet Security > Menu > Settings > Update > Here click on the "Check for updates" for both the Virus definition and AVG Internet Security application. If it is updated, then restart your PC and check the status of the issue.
Thank you.

I'm using Barrier (https://github.com/debauchee/barrier) to use a mouse on a Linux computer and share it with a Windows 10 one with AVG Internet Security over Ethernet.

This works perfectly, except that the mouse stops moving if either AVG Secure Browser or the AVG Internet Security app are focused (but not necessarily under the mouse).

How can I get AVG antivirus to trust the device (a Raspberry Pi 4) so that it's not blocked when using AVG Secure Browser and AVG Antivirus?
