AVG blocks my internet access

I followed your intructions and everything seemed to be working, but all of a sudden I had lost internet connection and the only way to get it back was to switch off the firewall
I now have a new internet provider with a static IP address and the issue still remains and plus seems to happen much more often.

Let us check the version of AVG and then proceed further.
Open AVG Internet Security program interface and click on "Menu–>About" from it.

As I had assumed, disabling and re-enabling the Enhanced Firewall allowed me to continue using the internet.
AVG constantly blocks my internet access, forcing me to disable and re-enable it to carry on.

I have the latest version of AVG Internet Security

Please disable Hacker attacks component in AVG as suggested here: https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Disable-AVG-Antivirus and check if you could access the internet. 

Make sure all the taks is enabled under System rules: https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=AVG-Antivirus-Enhanced-Firewall-System-Rules and change the network profiles from Public to Private.

Have you changed the firewall settings as suggested above? If not, restart your device, change the configuration & let us know its status.
