Tried to disable "Webshield" and then I could get my mails. Half a year ago I purchased the AVG Secure VPN but I can`t install and activate it - probably due to the fact that I am using Windows XP ?
Anyway, the webshield is blocking my mails. Any ideas how to proceed ?

Initially, let us identify which component of AVG is causing the issue. If you're connected to internet through AVG Secure VPN, please disconnect it & check.
If issue persists, follow the steps mentioned below 'Disable individual AVG component' in this article & let us know the component.

After latest update, my AVG blocks my incoming mail POP server.
Messages are -
AVG has blocked access to (IP) POP, due to one of the providers of the server certificate has expired.
The server that the PC is connected to is using a security certificate that can`t be approved.
Outlook says that - An error has been reported (error 0x800ccc0f) if it continues you have to contact the ISP. I have don that and they reports no problems.
I can get my mails on my iPhone where thare are no AVG installed.

AVG Secure VPN is supported in Windows 7 and higher and Mac OS 10.10.x and higher.
I request you to upgrade your Operating System so that you can use your AVG Secure subscription.
And for the Web shield blocking your email, repair the AVG using the below link :
