The firewall actually hooks into the Windows firewall, what you need to do is click on the icon for your network in the bottom right of the screen next to the clock then press on Network Settings at the bottom of the popup.
At the top of the network settings screen you should see your connection and a button that says properties. Click into that and on that screen you should be able to change the network from Public to Private.
