Avg causing pc issues

Hi Kevin,

This isn't the experience we want you to have. We'd like to look into this & help you.
Please let us know the operating system of your computer & version of AVG that is installed (Open AVG Internet Security - Menu - About). 
For better clarity, share us the screenshot of taskmanager showing the CPU consumption. 
Also, clarify whether there are any other antivirus installed on your computer. Reason being, multiple antivirus on the same computer will compete for resources & conflict with each other.

I loaded subscription AVG 2 weeks ago, and since then, my PC runs extremely SLOW, and has frequent lockups.  If I try to run more than one window at a time, both windows lockup.  It's almost as though AVG is a threat in itself.  My other browsers barely work, as though AVG is forcing me to use their "Secure Browser", which does not allow the use of the app Caffeine to keep my monitor awake.  When I check Task Manager, AVG Secure Browser uses Very High Power, CPU and Memory.  I'm really discontented and discouraged.  And it is really exacerbated by trying to use the "sucky" Support offered.  I can't even find a way to open a trouble ticket with Support, so here I am in this Community asking for help.  If I can't get some help in the next couple days, I'll have to cancel and request a full refund.  If I have to go that route, AVG will not like my internet-wide reviews of them.  AVG used to work pretty good 15 years ago when I had their free version, but now I'm paying, and everything runs like shiit.  Can someone please help me out here?
