AVG clear not working

Hi thanks for your response. I am definetly logged in as admin and able to run the avg program as an admin, but not delete it. I've tried following the instructions for restarting in safety mode for windows 10, 7, and 8 (I use windows 10) and none of them come up with a safety mode option and just restart the computer as normal.

Sorry for the late reply, I've been unwell. I tried multiple times rebooting in safe mode, unfortunately every time I press windows logo key & R key together it briefly flashes a text entering line over a black screen and then reboots before I can type anything. I've tried doing this as fast as I possibly can but it takes less than a second for it to reboot and none of the letters I type in show up on screen before rebooting. Do you know what could be causing this? Thank you, hope you have a lovely day.

I've installed AVG Clear a bunch of times now but every time I select 'run as administrator' it tells me I can't open it because I need to be an administrator - I am able to run the regular AVG antivirus program as an administrator, but not the Clear program. It's incredibly frustrating, I've been trying to uninstall this all day and I didn't even download it in the first place.

When I've tried to unistall from the control panel I get a pop up saying "an error in a system binary was detected. Try refreshing the PC to fix the problem" however refreshing the PC doesn't change anything.

This seems unusual, as we haven't received this message when uninstalling AVG.
