Hi Nisha,
I have already removed all avg files including any in the library folder. Still no success.
Any other thoughts?
cheers
I have removed AVG and cleaned my MacBook of AVG files (or so I thought), but when I try to install any antivirus (AVG or Norton) I am still getting a message that AVG is installed. How do I COMPLETELY uninstall AVG?
Thanks Nolan
Thanks Nolan
Hello Nolan,
We're here to help.
please follow the below steps to delete AVG traces manually.
1) Open Finder
2) In the menu bar select GO > GO TO FOLDER
3) Type: /Library/Application Support/
4) Locate and delete the AVGAntivirus folder manually (Restart your mac).
Keep us posted.
Hi Sreenu,
Since I have already deleted the app (as mentioned in OP), AVG is no longer in my Application folder so I cannot run the uninstall app.
Any other thoughts?
Cheers
