Hi John Salt…thank for this but unfortunately it's not worked for me as I cannot find the option: AVG/Avast Firewall NDIS6 Helper
to be able to disable it. :-(
Still waiting after 10 days for a resolution from AVG. I must say NordVPN customer service is fabulous and puts AVG to shame.
Thanks anyway.
AVG installed an update on my laptop and now every time I try to connect to my VPN it crashes my system ( BSOD - unexpected kernel mode trap avgbidsdriver.sys.) I uninstalled AVG and the VPN connected and PC didn't crash. During reinstall of AVG whilst connected to VPN it crashed my computer again. Whatever was part of the update relating to VPN connection please fix it.

In order to prevent getting Blue Screens, please follow these instructions:
1. Navigate to Control Panel -> Network and sharing center -> Change adapter settings
2. Right click on the NordVPN TAP adapter (usually named Ethernet 2) and select Properties
3. Disable (uncheck) AVG/Avast Firewall NDIS6 Helper.
4. Press OK to exit and save the changes and try connecting to our servers.
I have the same issue. I noticed that after BOSD, windows log shows ID7000 digiVecp Service error %%2. Please also let me know when the update come out. Thanks.

Same issue … After AVG update and any attempt to connect Nord VPN to server results in BSOD. Resetting computer to a restore point - problem disappears … until one installs latest AVG update.
Please sort soonest !
