AVG Dashboard showing Enhanced firewall not turned on

I updated my AVG Internet Security last night and since then I keep getting the message "Enhanced firewall not turned on" on the AVG main dashboard. When I click the button on the main dashboard to turn the enhanced firewall on I get another message telling me it cannot be turned on. However, when I check the AVG settings the enhanced firewall is shown as on. This problem has alone arisen following the latest AVG update installation… Does anyone know how to resolve this problem, can I ignore the message on the main dashboard if the AVG settings are showing me that the enhanced firewall is on?

I have tried the repair option but it has not resolved the problem.
