Could you let us know whether you encrypted the files using AVG on your computer or mobile?
Please mention the name of the AVG program you had used to encrypt the files.
Also, let us know the type/format of files that were encrypted.

I encrypted some files in 2018. Now, with the latest version, I cannot open it anymore. How can i recover them? I have some important files in there.

Is the issue persists in all browsers?
We suggest you use a different browser than the one you've used before to install the older version.
Keep us posted.

I've already tried to search for old versions but I was unable to install them. Can you give me a link or send me the installation file?

Thank you for providing us the info, Jack.
From your message, we see that while using the older version of AVG, you've created a vault & looking to retrieve it currently.
Since, the latest version doesn't have the feature, you may need to remove the existing version from control panel & then install the older version to retrieve the safe.
