However, we'd like to assure you that AVG will not install any program on our customer's computers that will deliberately slow them down. Also, cancelling an AVG TuneUp subscription will not slowdown the computer on which it was installed. It's possible that it could be a coincidence.
The AVG TuneUp is an optimization tool that includes a range of scans to detect unnecessary items and performance issues, freeing up disk space and improving the speed of your system.

I cancelled my AVG Tune Up subscription an then soon afterwards my computer systems began to getting slower. I then received a pop-up from AVG asking if my computer was getting slower and that if so, I should subscribe to AVG Tube Up. I re-subscribed and - guess what - my computer systems have got faster. A suspicious person might think that AVG have installed a program that deliberately slows down my computer systems, so that they might encourage me to subscribe to Tune Up. Has anyone else noticed the same issue. Has anyone found such a program installed by AVG?
