I have recently found that I cannot launch AVG from my desktop icon. I click–nothing happens.I have bought the AVG Driver update earlier this year and wonder if this has anything to do with it. I have also tried downloading AVG Free again but still no joy. I worry that I may not be protected as I can not see anything. Should I uninstall and start again? Any help would be very much appreciated.

We regret to hear about the inconvenience caused. We suggest you to repair AVG Zen to get this fixed. Please follow the below instructions to repair AVG Zen :
Go to Start -> Control Panel.
Note: Click Settings first if Control Panel is not available in the Start menu.
Open (Programs) -> Programs and Features, or Add or Remove Programs.
Select "AVG" in the list of programs.
Click the Change or Change/Remove button.
Select Repair.
Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the installation.
Restart your computer.
