AVG Detection popup coming on Chrome (even for AVG website)

Thanks for your response. I am getting the popup in the Chrome browser - not from the system tray. I have got AVG Internet Security 2014.

Hi Prasenjit , this seems to be a adware issue, if you remove the adware from the browser the pop ups will stop. Please follow the instructions given in this link Chrome:  https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/3296214  to reset the Google Chrome browser, please let us know if this solves the issue.

Suddenly getting this AVG Detection popup evyery time I go on to a site - even the AVG
website.

How do I remove this?
