Just this week my AVG came up "Protection is Disabled". The "Fix It" button does not work. after being on the phone for an hour with your support, it appears it is because i cannot download SP1 for Windows 7.
What changed from last week as i had no problems? did you change the app requirements?
If i do a restore to a previous date and turn off the avg auto updates will the program still work as before?

I called 9/29/19, around 9am US eastern time.
No, in fact they informed me it was because I DID NOT have SP1 installed as to why the program would no longer work and they tried to sell me your computer support services package.
I'm sorry, I do not have the case number with me.
