I was using a trial version of AVG Internet Security which expired so I wanted to downgrade to the AVG FREE edition. Everytime I uninstall AVG Internet Security, restart, install the FREE version, this looks fine. However, after the required restart when the FREE version is installed, the FREE version is gone again and only the expired Internet Security version keeps on appearing (which I actually uninstalled…).
I also tried to remove all AVG software with AVG Clear tool and the Removal tool as described in AVG Community, but still I keep having the same problems, AVG FREE is not available anymore after the required restart. Is there a way to solve this?
