Have you tried to restore Mouse and keyboard drivers and then check if it helps?

Hi there,

last time I updated drivers using this product, the Mouse and keyboard failed to activate.  now I have updated the drivers again (auto update service form AVG driver updater) and now all Microsoft products - Excel, Visio, Word etc wont load.
Microsoft says re-image my whole machine!!!
What's going on???
