Thank you - but none of that has worked! What do I do now?

Hi - My AVG Driver Updater keeps getting stuck on 'Requesting Windows Updates'. Has been doing this for last 3 weeks or so - and I keep having to cancel the scan.

Can anybody explain how to fix this problem?

Could you please confirm that even after reinstalling AVG Driver Updater, the updates still get stuck at 'Requesting Windows Updates'?

I am confirming for the 3rd time that even after reinstalling AVG Driver Updater, the updates still get stuck at 'Requesting Windows Updates'. 
(I have been here for approx 1 hour and I cannot wait any longer. I will sign in again tomorrow night & hopefully you will have the solution to my Driver Updater problem. Cheers.)

Yes - after reinstalling AVG Driver Updater, the updates STILL GET STUCK at 'Requesting Windows Updates' for at least 1/2 hour - then I give up & cancel the scan each time.
