AVG Driver Updater - Settings Database cannot be constructed properly

I have done all of the above, yet, this is what happens when I run the newly-installed program. Apparently, the database (structure) is corrupted.

Can you help?

Hello Douglas,

Let's have a look at it. Have you reinstalled the latest version of AVG Driver Updater from this link: https://www.avg.com/en-us/avg-driver-updater to fix the issue?

If not, please uninstall it and then go to above link, click on "Free Scan" to initiate installation. Check the status of it and share the screenshot http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot of error message you received if you need any further assistance.

I have not been able to get AVG Driver Updater to run. I have activated ti and used it in the past, however, it will n longer open and gives the error 'Settings Database cannot be constructed properly'. I have uninstalled/reinstalled to no avail. I would like to know if there is a way to delete/restore the database and reinstall and/or to edit my registry to remedy this issue. Right now and after having seen so many errors posted across the Internetwith this driver updater, it seems as if it was not a good investment. Please help.
