This has stoppedworking and repeatedly tries to launch adn then stops. Anny idea what is causing this? I amrunngnon Windows 10 no but the problem started on Windows 8 after working well for some months

When I start the computer the AVG driver update software launches, within a seconor tow an error message The AVG DRiver Updater has stopped working appears. Then within another few seconds the program attempts to start and then the sequence repeats until I cancel the process. I have not yet tried to re-install because thet problem emerged befoer the Windows 10 upgrade.
