Initially, please clarify whether you've tried restarting the computer once & checked.
If you've already restarted, please share us the screenshot of the page when the update process is stuck for better clarity.
I restarted the computer ,uninstalled and reinstalled both AVG Updater and Cirrus Audio. then it starts all over again
