Hi Rachel.
We're here to help.
Upon checking your account details, I see that you bought AVG TuneUp but not AVG Driver Updater.
It looks like you have put MS Office to sleep while running the maintenance tasks.
Open AVG TuneUp, click Speed Up, then click Background applications and programs.
Scroll down to the list of application that were put to sleep. If you see MS Office in the list, please click Wake against it.
You should be able to access the Word and Excel files. We recommend you to not put frequently used programs to sleep.

I purchased the AVG Driver Updater and updated the drivers on my computer.  Unfortunately, now Windows Word and Excel 2013 won't open and neither will any of my documents that use these programs.  What should I do?
