Thank you for the information, Diane.
The "free scan" installer link will directly install AVG Driver Updater.
It is necessary to perform the activation using the key that you have purchased.
For activation, open AVG driver updater window.
Click on "Support" and select "Enter Registration Key" option.
Enter the key and get the subscription activated.
Restart your PC and try to update the drivers.
Keep us informed about the status.
I have AVG Driver Updater, purchased 3-5-2018. When I click the icon on my desktop, the following messages appear:
AVG Driver Updater
Downloading application components
AVG Driver Updater
X The subject is not trusted for the specified action.
AVG Driver Updater Setup Wizard ended prematurely because of an error. Your system has not been modified. To install AVG Driver Updater at a later time, run Set Wizard again. Click the finish button to exit Setup Wizard.
I added new AVG programs on 8-20-2018 and it seems that this has been happening since that time. Please advise. Thanks!
Thanks Ranjani, I was able to enter my Registration Key to reactivate my paid subscription. I appreciate your timeliness and help! Thank you!
Hello Diane,
Let's work together to fix it. Reinstall your AVG Driver Updater and check if that helps. Go to Control Panel -> Programs and features -> Uninstall -> uninstall AVG Driver Updater and restart your device.
After restart, go to the following link: https://www.avg.com/en-us/avg-driver-updater and click on "Free scan" to initiate the installation and then activate it using your license number.
Hi Ranjani
I did as you suggested, but it never asked for my license number. Not sure if that is going to cause problems in the future. There is one driver that it is struggling to update, I cancelled it out for now as it was taking a long time.
