Hi Guys I am not sure if I have my settings correct, because when I go to clean up disk space, duplicate finder finds duplicates images to delete which are NOT Duplicates. For instant, it is able to find duplicates that are exactly the same in every way. But its the ones that have the same name or extremely similar names that's the problem. AVG does not seem to be able to tell that images are not duplicates because they have the same or similar file names. Even if the file size is different. Its seems to be making its decision on the file name only. Its not looking at the image or the size at all. Is this a software problem cliche or is it me. If its me what am I doing wrong. Or is there a software fix for this problem.
Please help. Thanks John.
Hi John,
This is an expected behavior.
AVG Duplicate finder usually detects the file with the same name.
We dont have any access to view your photos or files. So, it will identify the files with the same name irrespective of its size or image.
Thank you for understanding.
