Hello David,
We apologize for the inconvenience.
You can change the AVG PC TuneUp installed in your computer to work in standard mode. To change the mode, please open the AVG PC TuneUp and at teh bottom right habd side, you can see 4 icons, from that select the standard mode icon and that will change stop the AVG program from taking over your computer in economic mode.
